What type of design work are you involved in? Good designers that embody the "form follows function" school of thought are as valuable as any stock broker, CPA, lawyer, etc that should exist to save, and not cost a person money.
Are you in touch w/Jeff and Lisa Nicely? He says he lives in northern Virginia, but then...he's a government contractor, so, who knows.
