  • Hey Cindy! It's great to find you. How have you been doing?
  • Hi! Well, we didn't plan much... we got in the car and headed east through VT and NH we ended up in Freeport for a night... L.L. Bean of course!... then headed south to POrtland and saw portland Head Lighthouse, stayed overnight on the northern edge of Kittery then headed south again into NH , first to Strawberry Banke then to the BEACH! Then we turned northwest and "wandered" home. It was a very full three days, very refreshing and much needed... we may head back to Maine sometime - only head farther north.
  • Sorry I haven't gotten back to you sooner - I don't spend much time on my computer!! Wow! I just went to Maine for a couple days near the end of summer... next time I'll venture farther in to see more... perhaps Belfast??!!
  • Hey Cyndi, just thought I'd drop a hello.
  • Hi - I would sure like to think you remember Tara Tremaine! I'm in upstate New York - yep went back to the mountains and woods. This has been truly delightful! David and Christine have apparently diligently searched for people and I am blessed to have been one of them. I have a lovely 5-yr. old daughter Vivian ("lively Ann" - it fits!!) Hope to hear from you!!
    Tara
  • :-) I was special all right... my e-mail address is vickikurtz@msn.com. I remember we used to laugh a lot. Gosh, those children are lucky (I use that word whenever I can) to have you. . . that must be very rewarding and heart breaking at times. If you'd like to write me at my personal email address, please do. I'm enjoying the rain today and doing nothing but reading and drinking coffee -- i'm beat from a busy busy week. glad it's three days off. It's so good to be in touch with you.
  • Yes, I've got some great pictures of you and I at the advanced class. I always considered you one of the special ones. We all were going through 'stuff' and I considered you a friend so no worries. You and I did talk back then, though maybe not as completely as you needed. If that's the case it's my turn to be sorry. Yes, being free from the way is a good thing. Maine is beautiful, especially now. I love living on the coast here...though this past winter was way too long. I work as a social worker directing a case management program with 12 employees who cover 2 counties and surrounding towns working with children at risk of or who have developmental delays. Really interesting work. I was in California a number of years ago and remember wondering where you were there. I had remembered you used to live somewhere along the coast near Los Angelos. Was my thinking correct? It's so good to hear from you:-)
  • I live in California, work for an investment real estate firm, single, no kids, happy to be free from the way. Maine is so beautiful. I've never been but of course have seen pictures. I think I probably wasn't a very good friend so long ago and I'm sorry. I was going through a lot that I couldn't talk about back then. You were always such a nice person. It's so great to be in touch with you. We took the advanced class together, right?
