  Hi Claire,
  I'm not sure if we ever met, although I remember Joe who was one of my work coordinators when I was in residence with the 15th Corps.
  Anyway, the reason I am writing is that I notice one of your interests is homeschooling. Are you still homeschooling now? I was homeschooling our two boys for 6 years in New Zealand before we moved back to Australia last December.
  Please say "Hi" to Joe - he may remember sending me off on a tractor to water the trees at Emporia (scary!)

  Claire, Thanks for the response!! Think of you guys often and have wondered where you ended up. Had heard that you had moved to NC but did not know where. If Joe does not want to say ‘hi’, tell him OK with me, but I still love him!! You all take care. I may be headed to NC here in the near future, Hendersonville/Ashville area. Have no idea where you are located but if I was in state and you all would like to hang out for a while, I would be very blessed to do so.

  Sarah is transferring to Western in the fall. She will jbe a junior studying Forensic Anthropology. I would have called but I couldn't find your number. Mine is 336-869-6697, Oh right, you already knew that. We had a short visit there last weekend and stopped by the Sylva street festival and hoped to see you.   Hi Claire, Thanks for writing. It is a blessing to know that you and Joe and the kids are doing so well. It is funny on this site to absorb in one giant scoop the 20 or so years of growth that faithful people have gained since I've seen them. Sounds like your family business is an expansion of all of the stuff you used to do at the Way. I also enjoy foreign films and just saw a wonderful Chezk film last week.   I remember you mentioning the prayer hook-up last May, and YES!, please put Benjamin on the list. I have recently become renewed in my heart of going to God for the full healing (it has always been there, but it has recently become a renewed strong desire to see the full deliverance). I am so thankful to God that he is alive and while we have seen some deliverance, I want it all! God promised and Jesus Christ paid for it! So yes! Thank you for your continued encouragement!

  Hi Claire!---"My" beautiful Claire!! I have always been thankful for your friendship and that you're my sister in Christ. We received your latest holiday "card" and, need to tell you, we (even my kids) fully enjoy reading this annual treat!! Congrats again to Anne in completing her two years at college!! One of my desires was (and still is) to have Victoria spend some time with you and Annie. Are you having your bi-annual Believer get-together this year or next? Next year, 2010, my son's H.S. band is going to Carnegie Hall in NYC to play, and we'll be going out east then. If it coincides with your "believer get-together", hum..... maybe... the wheels are beginning to churn! :-) I didn't get to send out cards this year; maybe I'll do it for Resurrection Day. Quickly --- Victoria is a frosh this year at ISU (Iowa State U) & majors in Pre-Med Veterinary and minors in Music (choral and violin); Is super faithful in reading God's Word everyday. To her it's a treat!!; Austin is a Sophomore in H.S. & plays the Baritone Euphonium (I call it the BIG Trumpet or little Tuba), and Francesca is in 6th grade, plays the viola. Frank and I (and the Westberrys) still run fellowships and with Frank now having a job outside of the home (he sold his window-cleaning business), and is now also running a business on eBay, it all gets to be a little hectic some times. Claire, a BIG, strong hug to you and Joe, and the kids, and Jane Futch and her Family. Please send our greetings to her too. Love you very much!!! Anita

  Also wanted to let you know: Al & Chrissy Minott's daughter, Sierra, will be competing in the Miss America contest as Miss Florida, later this month. Beginning last Friday, and for the next 3 weeks, at 10pm eastern on The Learning Channel, she is on a reality show that they filmed last fall in LA. AT the end of the series, you can cast votes. Sierra's a wonderful Christian lady and has brought a great dose of godliness to this thing. Hope you can watch.
