  • Donnie and I were talking tonight about how no person ever got so much as a spider bite while out in the wilderness (except the dog bitten by a snake!) Talked about hiking at night without flashlights...seeing mountain lions...bear going through camp etc. and no one ever harmed. My kids have been out to Arabela in the last ten years.....on sessions. Our son, Ryan made his way into the LEAD lodge a couple of years ago. Fount Croskell was not well, so our Ryan and Will Armstrong went to help out. They ofcourse had a blast in our old stomping grounds! What a time of life huh? Dan Stevens still raves about it as well. What a special time with an incredible group of people. God was preparing us for something. Perhaps some of us have experienced what that "something" was. What a life we have to be thankful for.
Love you, Al! Thankful for you.

  • Ok...so I just read other comments and saw that Sierra was Miss Florida. That's awesome! I'm so sorry we missed her on tv!!!! I just googled her and saw a video. She is definitely beautiful and poised. I would love for our kids to meet up! I have crazy wildmen sons! like their dad! Actually they're wonderful musicians that love God and His Word. I'm sure your girls are not lacking for attention! Be fun to have them meet though. God bless you big!!!
