Personal meaning. If one looses their hands, and legs (like my dad) and all their teeth (like a good friend of mine)...they still have their soul. Ooo...reminds me of a poem entitled "Toothless," my attempt at a sonnet. Not the greatest, but at le...

Birthdays, Hugs, and Warm Fuzzies

I want to post one (or more!) of my favorite songs. I've been known to sing it to folks on their birthdays. And yes I know all the words, except I sometimes get the Ss mixed up. :-)

The video didn't quite fit with the 'joke, humor, and chuckle' blog. (GREAT blog btw!) So I thought to start another blog with links that aren't necessarily a joke or humor as such; but rather a 'warm fuzzy.'

If others want to add along the way (haha), that'd be great! If not, that's o.k. too. I at least hope that… Continue

Memoir, Art, Life ~ Love Affair

Yes, I am a blogomaniac. It could be a lot worse! Ha! I posted the following on one of my public blogs as well. I thought any memoir enthusiasts might enjoy some of the links.

Cheers!

Tibet - we won't forget...

My husband and I visited Tibet this past May. It was an honor to go there, but we found it very disturbing to consider the plight of the native people of that area under the rule of the Chinese government.

Here is some latest news...

To the Rescue

More than a blog, “To the Rescue” is a compilation of scriptures, comments, poetry and music centered on the theme that when we call on God, He will come “To the Rescue.” This is a new enterprise for me to a degree. Not too long ago, I became a writer for Examiner.com, an Internet publication, serving… Continue

Let's talk about LOVE (the greatest of these)

John 13:35: "By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another."

As we read this verse we are bound to cringe with shame at the way in which professing Christians
have treated each other down the years. We have turned the gospel into a weapon of our own various
cultures. We have hit each other over the head with it, burnt each other at the stake with it. We have
defined the 'one another' so tightly that it means only 'love the people who reinforce
